My name is Maddie Smith and I am a Sports Journalism student at Falmouth University. My ambition is to break into F1 reporting and ultimately become a Formula 1 commentator.

This blog is my baby, blood sweat and tears have gone into it and I treat it with love and care – as I’m sure you will too.

I decided to set some goals for the 2018 season, the idea behind it is that it will push me to get the most out of this blog. Some of the goals I may achieve and some I may not, I’m not too worried if I don’t. I’m sharing them with you because I want this to be a journey we go on together.
