The scot who made an early exit in Formula 1 is returning this year in the role as Williams’ reserve driver.

He will somewhat be filling the shoes of Susie Wolff, who left at the end of the last season. Paul Di Resta drove in F1 with Force India from 2011 to 2013. He hasn’t been out of racing altogether though as away from F1 he has become a DTM champion.

He will bring vital knowledge to the Williams team and Claire Williams has said that she is “delighted” to have him on the team. Williams have also said that his knowledge will be “invaluable” to the team.
